Innocence.

That exhilarating perception to be under control. The earth seemingly small, as if it could be shaped and molded to whatever the mind believes to be true.

The innocent being, with potential for brightness. Is unaware that what lies beneath, is the equal potential for darkness.

This piece is actually 2 years old. It started as a random sketch that I decided to take further into an illustration. :) I have begun to paint it during my first month at Gobelins, but never had the chance to really finish it! Glad I got the chance to resurrect it now. Hahaha

I held myself from altering too much of the style I was making back then.. I don`t know, I like to think that each illustration reflects a lot of how I felt at the time, so I tried keeping it true to that.
